Quick route

Start Zerine’s Crafter route, confirm the Storage Box I recipe, gather the required Softwood, craft the box at the Worktable and place it beside your processor row. Use separate raw, processed and request-item sections so quest materials are not sold.

Confirm the live Storage Box I recipe

Current guide data lists 8 Softwood. Read the Worktable recipe after every patch before gathering an exact amount.

  • Do not confuse Storage Box I with later box tiers.
What you should seeThe recipe panel names Storage Box I.
Gather Softwood and preserve a reserve

Gather Softwood and preserve a reserve

Chop normal trees, collect the drops and stop before the stack needed for Cutter, Kiln or other active objectives is consumed.

  • The box should improve organisation, not stall progression.
What you should seeEnough Softwood remains for the box and current objective.
Craft and collect the box

Craft and collect the box

Craft Storage Box I at the Worktable and collect the finished item into the build/equipment inventory.

  • A finished box inside the Worktable cannot be placed yet.

Place it beside the processor row

Enter Build mode and put the box where Cutter, Kiln and Furnace can all be reached in a short loop.

  • Do not block the machines’ interaction sides.
What you should seeThe box opens and every station remains reachable.
Create raw and processed sections
Screenshot checkpoint: Create raw and processed sections.

Create raw and processed sections

Use one box with clear rows or two boxes: raw materials in one, processed parts in another.

  • Raw: Softwood, Fiber, Stone, Copper Ore.
  • Processed: Planks, Charcoal, Ingots.
What you should seeA material can be found without checking every slot.
Protect a request/quest reserve

Protect a request/quest reserve

Move items needed by the tracked objective or Bulletin Board into a clearly separated row or named box.

  • Sell only from the duplicate pile.
What you should seeThe active quest stack is visually separated.
Use Bag slots for travel, boxes for reserves

Use Bag slots for travel, boxes for reserves

After storage is stable, expand the Bag for tools and trip loot rather than carrying the full crafting inventory all day.

  • Return and unload after each long route.
What you should seeThe Bag has open travel slots and Home keeps the reserve.
Field notes

A useful box prevents decisions at the shop counter

Sort materials when you return Home, not while deciding what to sell.

Raw inputs together

Softwood, Stone, Fiber and ore belong near the processors that use them.

Processed parts together

Planks, Ingots and Charcoal should be visible at a glance before you start a recipe.

Requests in a protected row

Keep board and quest items away from the pile you routinely sells as duplicates.

Patch checkStorage interfaces can change during Early Access. The reliable principle is separation: raw inputs, processed parts and protected quest/request items should never share an unlabelled sale pile.
