Sources and confidence rules
This site treats the game itself as the primary source. A number, recipe or finish condition is published only when it can be read in the live objective, item panel, recipe screen or a clearly labelled screenshot. External pages are supporting evidence, not a substitute for the game UI.
The Steam store still labels Starsand Island as Early Access. The official announcement feed listed version 0.7.7575 on July 2, 2026. This date is a review marker, not a promise that every screenshot was captured in that exact build.
1. In-game evidence
The strongest evidence on this site is visible inside the game.
- Tracked objective text and completion counters.
- Recipe, ingredient and processor panels.
- Item names, map labels and profession markers.
- Original or annotated screenshots showing the action and the result.
2. Official sources
Official pages are used for release status, update history and broad feature descriptions.
3. Independent and community cross-checks
These sources help locate possible details to test. A community claim is not presented as certain when it conflicts with the live game or cannot be reproduced.
| Exact recipes | Published only when the ingredients are visible in-game or agree across current evidence. |
|---|---|
| NPC positions | Primary locations are described; moving residents use live tracking instead of invented daily schedules. |
| Gift claims | Confidence is shown. A single community list is not treated as proof of a loved gift. |
| Patch changes | Old values are corrected when the live UI or official notes show a change. |
Fish Finder data
The Fish Finder is a working Early Access reference, checked on July 9, 2026. It combines the wiki fishing tables, a community tracker, Steam field reports and independent guides. The tool does not claim to read live game data.
- 105 condition entries are searchable by season, weather, time, water and bait.
- Obvious name and location conflicts were checked against wiki fish/location tables.
- Any future mismatch should be resolved in favor of the current in-game Islandpedia.
- Open the Fish Finder and review its source note.
